Cologne, Germany, October 1, 2026 - As part of the long-term strategic development of the Xantaro Group, a change at the top of the company will take place on October 1, 2026: Christian Werner will become the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO),
succeeding Martin Czermin, who will remain associated with the company as Executive Chairman. With this long-prepared step, the corporate group underlines its clear course of combining absolute continuity in day-to-day operations with the systematic expansion of future growth platforms.
For the strategic direction of the Xantaro Group, this change primarily means reliability, complemented by valuable additional management experience. In particular, for the Xantaro Group's customers, this seamless transition represents the highest level of continuity in the familiar quality, service, and collaborative partnership.
“The change at the top is a long-planned step to usher in the next phase of our company's development,” explains Martin Czermin, the current CEO of the Xantaro Group. “With Christian Werner, I am handing over the reins to an absolute industry expert. He not only brings a deep understanding of the IT market, but has also repeatedly demonstrated in the past how to successfully build organizations and establish sustainable growth platforms. For our customers, partners, and our entire team, this sends a very strong signal of stability, continuity, and reliability.”
Christian Werner brings more than 30 years of international experience in the IT and systems integration industry. He joins Xantaro from Digit Solutions GmbH, a provider of managed security services, where he most recently served as Managing Director responsible for the DACH region. His expertise is a perfect fit, as managed services are a key component of the Xantaro Group's portfolio.
His eight-year tenure as CEO and Managing Director of the Logicalis Group DACH was particularly formative for his career to date. During his time at Logicalis, revenue and EBITDA more than doubled, and he expanded the organization from 160 to over 400 employees.
Prior to this, he acquired extensive industry expertise in long-standing, partly international leadership positions at renowned technology companies such as Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and Siemens.
"Xantaro is excellently positioned in the market, both technologically and in terms of personnel," adds the future CEO Christian Werner. "My primary goal is to build on the successful work of Martin Czermin to ensure we remain an absolutely reliable partner for our customers. On this strong foundation, we will systematically and continuously expand the growth platforms of the Xantaro Group together with our strong team."
