(Senior) Cyber Security Engineer (m/w/d)
Your tasks
- As a Cyber Defense Engineer, you will work with the team to plan, implement and continuously develop the IT security infrastructure.
- You enjoy operating and developing existing security tools based on current threats and trends.
- The automation of rule and project activities (Detection & Response as Code) and Incident Response Run Books is a matter of course for you and will be implemented by you independently in our SOAR platform.
- Zusätzlich bringst du dich in der Weiterentwicklung der internen Tool-Suite aktiv ein.
- Als erfahrener Engineer bist Du ebenfalls Mentor und vermittelst dein Wissen aktiv.
Your profile
- Du passt zu uns, wenn Du Deine Ausbildung zum/zur Fachinformatiker:in bzw. Dein Studium der Informatik erfolgreich abgeschlossen hast und mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Security Operations oder vergleichbare Qualifikationen und Erfahrungen mitbringst.
- Very good knowledge of the Python programming language and additional experience with other programming languages is an advantage.
- Du hast bereits Kenntnisse im Bereich diverser IT-Security-Technologien (SOAR, EDR/EPP, SIEM, NDR/IDS/IPS). Erfahrungen in den Produkten von Microsoft, SentinelOne und Palo Alto sind von Vorteil.
- Team spirit, commitment and personal responsibility are among your strengths.
- Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English round off your profile.
